Travel to Indonesia

It is Indonesia, the largest archipelago in the world, a huge chain of more than 135,000 islands spanning 5,000 km between Australia and Asia. Like all tropical islands, the Indonesian islands are known for their pristine beaches and exciting water sports. A little further away are the green hills dominated by the spectacular volcanic mountains. In addition to the beautiful landscapes, Indonesia also has a valuable cultural treasure. Beaches and water sports are the main attractions of Indonesia. The long history has provided Indonesia with a fascinating culture and evocative relics. Yogyakarta on the island of Java is famous for the temples of Borobudur and Prambanan. Borobudur is considered one of the ancient wonders of the world, while the Prambanan temples belong to their own league. These relics are reminiscent of the glorious past of Indonesia. Jakarta, a vibrant city and capital of Indonesia, is also located on the island of Java. It contains all the ingredients of an eastern metropolis. Lombok is known for its beautiful beaches and the large, emerging volcano. Bali is known for its rugged coastline and sandy beaches. Ubud in Bali is the treasure of Indonesian culture. Water sports include many water sports such as skiing, diving, snorkeling and much more.

climate
Due to its tropical climate, Indonesia does not have a large temperature difference in the different seasons. As in all tropical areas, the climate is hot and humid. The hills are a bit cooler than the plains. The driest climate is from June to September, while the western monsoon brings precipitation from December to March. Thunderstorms occur all year round.

Language and religion
The only official language here is Indonesian, known as Bahasa Indonesian. It is based on a Malay dialect. Educated Indonesians can understand and speak English. Alumni of Islamic religious institutes know Arabic. In terms of religion, Islam is the dominant religion here. However, people are tolerant of other religions.

topography
The beauty of Indonesia lies in its archipelago, the number of which is enormous. Most of the islands are still unexplored. Indonesia offers travelers the opportunity to explore untouched land and discover the secrets of nature that are still hidden in their kingdom. The archipelago is so large that of the 13,000 islands only 1,500 were named. Java is the largest island in Indonesia. Most islands are mountainous and shallow only in coastal areas.
